Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book my session?

The best thing you can do is book your session early! I recommend reaching out at least 2–3 months ahead. I book a limited number of sessions each month to ensure every client receives my full attention.

Do you offer hair and makeup recommendations?

Yes! I have a list of trusted artists I love referring clients to, and I highly recommend enhancing your experience by using a professional hair and make-up artist for your session. Makeup for photography is vastly different from makeup for day-to-day wear. My suggested makeup artists and hairstylists use only the best camera-ready products on your face and hair to make you look your very best for your portraits! If you’d like that extra pampering, I’ll help you find the perfect fit.

Prior to your pre-session consultation, I'll share a guide to my favorite locations for portraits around the Charlotte area. Together, we'll choose the backdrop that best meets your vision for your session. If you have a special location in mind that isn't on my list, please mention it, and we can discuss the options.
